1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Squadd app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The Service

Squadd is a team management tool for grassroots football. It helps coaches and parents manage player rosters, fixtures, training, communication, match recording, statistics, and payment tracking.

Squadd is a tracking and communication tool. It does not process, collect or hold money on your behalf. The optional Squadd Pro subscription is billed by Apple or Google through their app stores, as described in the Subscriptions and Billing section below.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One person per account — do not share your login
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have parental consent

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Upload offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Impersonate another person
• Attempt to access data belonging to teams you are not a member of
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Deliberately disrupt the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Content

• You own the content you create (posts, messages, photos, match reports)
• By uploading content, you grant Squadd a licence to store and display it to your team members
• This licence ends when you delete the content or your account
• We do not claim ownership of your data

6. Children's Data

Squadd is designed for use by adults (coaches and parents) managing youth football teams. Player data is entered by authorised adults.

• Coaches are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent to manage player data
• Parents can view and manage their own children's data via guardian links
• All player data is protected by team-level access controls

7. Payment Tracking

The subs and payment tracking features in Squadd are record-keeping tools only. Squadd does not process, collect, or transfer money. Actual payments are made directly between parents and coaches.

8. Subscriptions and Billing (Squadd Pro)

• Squadd offers an optional paid subscription, Squadd Pro, priced per team. Current prices are always shown in the app before you subscribe and can vary by store and country.
• Every new team receives a free trial of the Pro features. No payment details are required for this trial and nothing is charged when it ends. When it ends, the team moves to the free plan and no data is deleted.
• Pro subscriptions are purchased through, and billed by, Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase. Squadd never sees or stores your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• When a subscription is cancelled or expires, Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period. The team then returns to the free plan and keeps all of its data.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their store policies. Please contact them directly for refund requests. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
• Players, parents and supporters never need to pay to use Squadd. Only the team's subscription is paid, managed by the team's coach or club.
• Club arrangements agreed directly with us are invoiced as agreed in writing with the club.

9. Availability and Uptime

• We aim to keep Squadd available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice

10. Limitation of Liability

Squadd is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any loss of data, missed fixtures, or miscommunication arising from use of the app
• We are not liable for any financial disputes between coaches and parents regarding subs or payments
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time via Settings. This is permanent and irreversible. See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
