Every child plays.
Every match.
Squadd tracks fair-play minutes live, so every child gets a proper run-out. Fixtures, lineups, stats and team chat — all handled too.
⚖️ Live fair-play tracking is part of Pro — and every new team gets Pro free for 4 weeks. No card needed. Players and parents are always free.
👥 Senior or Sunday-league side? Players manage their own availability, fees and stats — no parents in the loop. See how Squadd works for adult teams.
🔒 Your team's data is stored in the EU, encrypted, and visible only to your own team. How we handle data.
"Squadd is a brilliant platform that I use regularly for communication with players, parents and coaches. It is so easy to use and has all the functionality required for effective communication. You no longer need to be conscious of game time. As Squadd is programmed with live minute tracking and will prompt you to make substitutions, based on minutes played. Absolute Game Changer. Highly Recommended."
Everything your team needs
Replace the WhatsApp group, the spreadsheet, and the scribbled-on notepad.
Fixtures & Match Days
Create single matches or multi-game festival days. Tag every fixture as League, Cup, Friendly or Tournament. Track home/away, kick-off times, locations with weather forecasts and one-tap directions.
Availability
Players (or parents, for youth teams) respond available / maybe / unavailable for each fixture and training session. Coaches see who's in this Sunday at a glance.
Training & Attendance
Set up weekly training slots once and they appear on the calendar forever. Attendance rolls into season stats — spot the players who've missed three sessions before they quietly drift away.
Round-Robin Tournament Planner
Hosting a festival? Type in 2–16 teams, how many pitches you've got, and your timings. Squadd generates the full round-robin schedule with byes, colour-coded rounds and finish time — then turns it into a live match day with one tap. Share the fixture list to WhatsApp in seconds. How it works →
Live Match Recording
Record goals, assists, saves, cards and substitutions in real-time. Live minute tracking and an optional 50% playing-time warning help make sure every player gets their fair share — see how it works ↓
Goalkeeper Recognition
One-tap save logging during the match (long-press for penalty saves). Clean sheets tracked automatically. Coaches award a separate Goalkeeper of the Match alongside MOTM so whoever's in goal gets their moment too.
Season Stats
Automatic season stats — games played, minutes, goals, assists, shots & shooting accuracy, saves, clean sheets, training attendance. Golden Boot and Sharpshooter leaderboards you can toggle on or off to suit your team.
Squadd Wrapped
End-of-season shareable images for every player — Spotify-Wrapped style. Parents share their child's stats to Instagram and WhatsApp. Coaches get a team-wide summary with top scorers, record and biggest win. Toggle on at season-end.
Character Sticker Book
After each match, coaches award character stickers to players — Effort, Brave Today, Fair Play, Kind Heart and more. No Top Scorer sticker. Every player builds a personal sticker book across the season that parents can follow, and the highlights feed into Squadd Wrapped.
FAW & COMET reminders
Welsh coaches get push reminders to submit team sheets to COMET on the morning of league fixtures, plus a post-match nudge to enter the result inside the 2-hour deadline (skipped automatically for U6–U11 Mini Football). Avoid the £30 / £15 fines.
Team Chat
Built-in team chat, a private coaches channel, and custom topic channels for anything from lift-shares to end-of-season tour. No more lost messages in WhatsApp groups.
Subs & Payments
Set a monthly subs or match-fee amount, tick off who's paid. Players (or parents) get gentle reminders — so you're not chasing £3 transfers in the bar. One-off charges for kit, cup entry or the end-of-season do too.
Volunteer Tasks
Share the load. Post match day jobs — put goals up, collect cones, bring the orange slices, drive to the away game — and parents sign up with one tap. Stop chasing the same three volunteers every week.
Team Sides
Got 30 players who split into Stars, Moons and Sun on match day? Run it as one team — one chat, one training schedule, one subscription. Each player has a default side; swap for a specific week when needed.
Lineups & Formations
Auto-suggested lineups based on availability and positions. Lock key players, swap with a tap, fair-play rotation built in.
Match Reports & MOTM
Post-match reports with scorers, saves, cards, coach notes, Man of the Match and Goalkeeper of the Match. Parents can vote for their Player of the Match too.
Newsfeed & Polls
Post announcements, match summaries and polls. "What colour kit this weekend?" — sorted in seconds.
Calendar Sync
Subscribe in Apple, Google or Outlook Calendar. Fixtures and training appear automatically — add once, forget forever.
Photo Gallery
Parents share match day photos directly in the app. No more hunting through camera rolls for that goal celebration.
Built for the weekend coach
Real screens from the app. Availability, stats, match reports, lineups — all the bits that replace your WhatsApp group, spreadsheet and notepad.
Every child plays. Fairly. Every match.
Grassroots football is meant to be about every child getting a run-out. Squadd is the only app that actually tracks whether that's happening — live, every minute, every match.
Live minute tracking
Every substitution is logged. Every player has a running minute badge on-screen — green for on-pitch, grey for bench. No whiteboards, no counting on fingers.
50% playing time warning
Past 40% of the match, Squadd flags any child projected to play under half the match. One tap jumps you to the bench — least minutes first — and fixing it is two more taps.
Auto fair-play sub
One tap swaps your most-played outfield player for your least-played bench player. Rotation without thinking. Goalkeepers stay put unless you say otherwise.
Coach-only, private
Fair-play tracking lives in the coach's live match view — minute badges, the 50% warning and sub suggestions are never shown to parents. Make the call yourself, without anyone else second-guessing from the sideline.
Built for football. Not bolted on.
Spond and TeamSnap manage any sport — netball, rugby, swimming. Squadd does one sport, properly — which is why it has the things a grassroots football coach actually needs.
The football-specific bits generic apps skip
Head to head
Spond is multi-sport and built for generic team admin. Squadd is football-first — fair-play rotation, match reports, coach ratings, Parents' POTM, tournament planner, goalkeeper recognition, end-of-season Wrapped shareables. Depth where it matters.
Heja covers chat, availability and basic stats. Squadd adds lineups, live match recording, fair-play rotation, match reports, POTM voting, tournament planner, GK of the Match and Squadd Wrapped — at the same price.
TeamSnap is bigger and generic (every sport). Squadd is built specifically for UK grassroots football — fair-play rotation, coach ratings, Parents' POTM, tournament planner, FAW & COMET reminders, end-of-season Wrapped. Plus half the price.
TeamStats has solid stats and match recording. Squadd adds fair-play rotation, Parents' POTM, tournament planner, GK recognition, Squadd Wrapped, FAW & COMET reminders, team sides and calendar sync — the full grassroots toolkit.

Frequently asked questions
Do parents have to pay?
No. Parents always use Squadd for free — they sign up with an invite code from their coach and can respond to availability, chat, vote for POTM, and view stats at no cost. Only the team subscription is paid, and that's managed by the coach or club.
What happens after the 4-week trial?
After your 4-week trial ends, your team drops to the Free tier. All your data stays exactly where it is — nothing is deleted. You just lose access to Pro features like live recording, the lineup builder, full season stats and chat until you subscribe — though basic stats (team record, form & top scorer) stay free. You can upgrade any time.
Is my data safe? What about children's data?
Yes. All data is encrypted, stored in the EU, and protected by row-level security — team members can only see their own team's data. Player information is never shared outside the team. We're fully GDPR compliant with account deletion built in. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes — Squadd works on both iOS and Android. Coaches and parents can use whichever device they prefer. Data syncs instantly across all devices.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. Cancel your subscription any time and your team drops back to the Free tier at the end of the billing period. Your data is always yours.
We already use WhatsApp — why switch?
WhatsApp is great for chatting but terrible for organising. Availability gets buried, nobody knows who's paid subs, and there's no stats or lineups. Squadd gives you structured availability, one-tap responses, automatic stats, and everything in one place — while still having team chat built in.
Can one parent be in multiple teams?
Yes. Parents sign up once and can join as many teams as they need — perfect for families with children in different age groups. A cross-team digest on the home screen shows everything coming up across all their teams.
We've got 30 children in one squad who split into three sides on match day. Do we pay 3×?
No. Squadd has first-class support for teams with multiple match-day sides. You create one team, set up Stars / Moons / Sun as sides, and pay one team price. Each child has a default side but coaches can swap them week to week via the Squad Split tool. It's one team, one chat, one training schedule — just multiple matchday sides.
How is this different from Spond?
Spond is great for basic availability and chat. Squadd goes further with live match recording, automatic season stats, lineup builder with fair-play rotation, tournament planning, match reports, player ratings, Parents' Player of the Match voting, and subs tracking — all built specifically for football, not generic sports.
Do my players need their own logins?
On senior and adult teams, yes — players self-manage their own availability and stats with their own login. No parents involved. You just drop one invite link in the squad chat; players sign up, confirm their name, and you approve them.
Can I collect match fees from adult players?
Yes. Set a per-match or monthly amount and tick off who's paid — cash, bank transfer or mark-as-paid, whatever your players actually use. Automatic reminders chase the stragglers so you're not the one asking for £3 in the bar every week.
Does Squadd work for an 11-a-side Sunday league team?
Yes. Choose Adult / Senior at setup and you get 11v11 defaults, player self-management and none of the youth-only features — just fixtures, availability, live recording, stats and team chat for your open-age side.
