Viewing Fixtures and Match Reports
Overview
The Fixtures tab shows your team's complete match schedule — upcoming games, results, and match reports. Everything your coach records during a match appears here once they've published the report.
The Fixtures List
Tap Fixtures in the bottom navigation. You'll see all upcoming and past fixtures, sorted by date.
Each fixture card shows:
- Opponent name
- Date and kick-off time
- Home or away
- Result (for completed fixtures)
Tap any fixture to open its detail.
What's on the Fixture Detail Screen
Match information
At the top of the screen:
- Opponent — team you're playing
- Date and time — when and where
- Meet at pitch time — if your coach has set an early arrival time (e.g. 15 minutes before kick-off)
- Location and postcode — tap Get directions to open in Maps
- Weather — current conditions for the fixture location
- Format — 5v5, 7v7, etc.
- Match notes — any instructions your coach has added (e.g. "Please wear red kit")
- Final score — shown once the match is complete
Availability
Below the match info, you'll see the Squad Availability section showing how many players are available, maybe, out, or yet to respond. Your child's response buttons are here — tap to respond or change your answer.
Volunteer tasks
If your coach has added match-day jobs, they appear below availability. Tap an unclaimed job to take it on. Tap again to release it if your plans change.
Photos
If the Photo Gallery module is enabled, you can view and upload match-day photos here.
Reading the Match Report
After a match, your coach writes a report and publishes it. Once published, the match report appears on the fixture detail screen and a Match Summary post is added to the team feed.
The report shows:
- Final score
- Goal scorers — with approximate minutes if recorded during the live match
- Man of the Match — your coach's pick
- Goalkeeper of the Match — if your team has goalkeeper tracking enabled
- Parents' Player of the Match — see the winner and cast your vote (see below)

Voting for Parents' Player of the Match
If your coach has enabled the Parents' Player of the Match module, you can vote after each completed match.
- Open the fixture detail of a completed match
- Scroll to the Parents' Player of the Match section
- Tap the player you want to vote for
- Your vote is submitted instantly
You can change your vote — tap Change vote and select a different player.
The winner is announced once voting closes. Your coach can see the full breakdown of who voted for whom; you can see the winner and the results summary.
See Voting for Player of the Match for more detail.
Match Days (Festivals and Tournaments)
If your team plays in a festival or multi-match day, you'll see a Match Day entry on the Fixtures tab instead of individual fixtures. Tap the Match Day to see all the individual matches within it.
Availability is set at the Match Day level — your response covers all the matches in that day automatically.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see the lineup before the match?
Your coach may publish the lineup before kick-off. If they have, you'll see the starting XI on the fixture detail screen. Not all coaches publish lineups in advance.
The match report hasn't appeared yet — when will it be posted?
Your coach publishes the report manually after the match. It could be immediately after the final whistle or a day or two later. You'll receive a notification on the feed when it's published.
I can see a score but no match report — is that normal?
Yes — coaches can record a result without publishing a full match report. The score updates immediately when entered; the detailed report (goals, MOTM, etc.) only appears after the coach publishes it.
Can I see my child's individual stats here?
Full season stats are on the Stats tab (if your coach has enabled parent stats access). The fixture detail shows fixture-specific info like goals scored and minutes played once the report is published.
Will I be notified about new fixtures?
Yes — you'll receive a push notification when your coach adds a new fixture to the schedule.
